I think it's a good thing. EastEnders needs to revive and renew to improve its storylines and bring in fresh audiences. Pauline was never a character that would make you switch on to watch the show. Her character had become incredibly one dimensional and as her original family left the show, she didn't seem to connect with the rest of the show. I understand there was some off screen rivalry between her and Barbara Windsor, which is why you never see them at any awards ceremonies together.

They've filmed a few different scenarios to try to stop people from finding out. I think she has a heart attack but not sure who caues it - could be anyone in the square really

I read today that she has a row with sonia - who hits her. She then goes to see Dot and Jim who are at Max's and as she is walking back across the square, she collapses with a brain heamorrage and dies beside Arthurs bench. Then Sonia is in big trouble!!

Oh now you've ruined the storyline for me. I thought she was going to live happy ever after in America with Michelle. Let's face it she deserves a bit of luck, because you couldn't get a better mother. Poor Martin. ! ! ! ! N O T.

She has a big row with sonia then later takes her dog for a walk and colapses. The cause of death is not known yet.

they have filmed 3 different stories the one i think they are going with is sonia hits her and she bangs her head then she dies then sonia goes on the run i hope that answers your question darling merry christmas
