I was just wondering what everyone thought. You know how there is a Pasadena in CA and MD. Portland in ME and OR and Springfield's all over the place. What is the city name that is used the most in the states?

I guess a lot of people didn't understand your question!

Springfield is definitely one of the most common, if not the most (there's got to be a site online somewhere that lists these things!). Washington is a common place-name, too. A lot of places in the eastern part of the country were named after towns and cities in England - I know of a few towns named Waterbury, Marlboro (or Marlborough), and other similar names. Newtown/Newton is common, too.

More random useless information - Warren is the only town that exists in each state in New England (CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, and ME)
