I never installed the system or something similary to Hijackthis. It says i have hijackthis 1.99.1 on the list. Can't i just delete it from the add/remove list.

Hi. Hijackthis is a tool used to help diagnose a computer. You can just remove it.

If you don't want it just right click on it and delete it or remove it whatever the option it gives you in your add/remove program. Somebody had to download it or it came with your system, it's just a diagnostic tool but not for anyone unfamiliar to use because you could end up deleting the wrong thing! So don't use it if you are not confident enough to use it. Peace!

Spybot search and destoy should get rid of that try downloading it it's free.
