I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oprah. I agree, she cares about the world! Especially africa. She talked about the (RED) campaign on her show. ANd every1 knows that anything Oprah touches or talks about turns to gold, lol. Oprah is one of my biggest role models.

I like the old Oprah before she lost herself in the fame and money. It used to be that she was you know a strong black woman who cared about the black community, but now it's like she's turning her back on us. I know she's helping out in Africa and all that, but so is Angelina Jolie, and I like her a heck of a lot better than Oprah. Angelina seems like she genuinely wants to make the world a better place, and she doesn't use her deeds for publicity like Oprah does. You see Angelina actually getting close to the people, working with them, adopting children and what not. Oprah just writes a check and expects the world to bow down to her.

I've never met her, so I can't really say. But what I CAN say is: don't be fooled by someones image. She may seem great on TV because of the way she carries herself, but when you look closely at how she does what she does, hypocracy in her behavior and espeically her "thinking", is very appearant.
Its funny how people who never met her, talk about her as if she was their best friend and known her their whole lives. Comments like, "She's a great person, she's caring and loving, etc, etc", shows how people like to believe in things just to feel good, based on no facts. It's being judgemental in a illogical way.

She's okay in small doses. I think she does a decent amount of work in getting the word out on some important issues but she could be doing more since she's famous as hell. About 2/3 of her shows feel like a waste of time--who cares about celebrity #458?

Yes I love Oprah! She is such a role model for many women and men for that matter in this world and she has done many amazing things in life. She should be rewarded for a nobal peace prize or something for being the most generous person in the world:) lol....

I don't know anything about her except whats shown on her television show, magazine, and other media. She has a lovely persona. She's very ambitious and giving. These are great qualities for a person to have.

I like Oprah a lot because she's always caring about others first and helps the world. She seems very outgoing and can express her own opinions very well. She is one of my role models.

Yes, because she relates issue to health love and families and she is very generous. I think she is an angel with money. who knows hard work and determination, will get you where you need to be going AND she knows GOD made it all possible!
