Plus the kid saw it on a porn video that was shown to him by his twelve year old friend. Lets just say that he learned more than he should of about sex and making out and all that crap. I think he is 11 now but whenever i babysit him he trys to hit on me. It's gross! i just want to explain it to him in a way that he will get that it's bad to do that at his age.

As love between man and wife. And the way God designed it for people to make babies.

By 10 the childs certainly seen or heard of other animals mating, its not that far of a leap to get into human reproduction.

by 10 the child is probably in 5 grade, sex ed starts in public schools usually in the 4th grade.

Just tell the child the truth, just like a doctor would explain it. Draw pictures, answer questions... that sort of thing.

I would explain it in Lehman's terms, but I'd also have a microbiology book handy to show them the effects of STDs. It's never too early to scare some sense into your children and nowadays I think that's the only hope for some children. I don't think it's mean or inhumane to do that, you just want your kids to be safe

How have they seen it? I think I would just tell the truth! That's the best thing you can do because by this age they are pretty much already hearing about it and talking about it at school. And what better way to hear it than from your parents!

WoW! Where did they see such explicit acts? At best I think this is a bogus question because at the age of 10...most kids know more than we give them credit for!

I'd show the kid a porn from the 70's or 80's. That will scare the hell out of him. It still scares me. . .

If you are the parent, and he/she saw you and your spouse having sex, then and only if he/she should ask you about it just tell him/her that this is just another way you show how much you and your spouse really care about each other.

Tell him that's how babies are made and it's rude to proposition someone unless you are in a relationship with each other.

LOCK YOUR DOORS MOM!!!

sorry about this, but you just have to come right out and explain that you only do it if you love someone and you want to have kids.
