Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Stones or Beatles?

No disrespect to the beatles or stones....

but my loving votes are Sabbath, Purple, Zeppelin and Floyd.
what about you?

also The Who, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead have the same class like above. they´re my fave too

Pink Floyd is my favourite band of all time!! To this day, I still listen to Comfortably Numb, and get shivers down my spine when I hear that awesome second guitar solo, and that song is almost 30 years old!!

Black Sabbath is just unbelievable too, I once read a review of a Sabbath DVD in a guitar magazine, that said, "Go to HMV, go to the 'metal' section and find Black Sabbath, everything else in the section was influenced by them" Seems to say it all really, does it not?

Deep Purple too, are fantastic, and I own several of their records, but it was a band I never got into, or as passionate about, as Sabbath & Floyd.

Led Zeppelin? Well what can you say about the Led?? To this day, they are still classed as groundbreaking & an influence on any band around that matters.

Having these 4 names in one paragraph, sort of puts in perspective, the very sorry state of Rock at the moment I think.

I have to go with Floyd, Sabbath, Stones, Zeppelin, Beatles, then Purple.

I tend to have the same opinion...Zeppelin followed by Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and then Black Sabbath...I just noticed...three out of the four have colors in their names...LOL
