Sure thing if there were little guys stores left definately.

I am a liberal and I have a confession to make:

I occasionally shop at Walmart. I buy cleaning supplies there.

I live in Houston in what is known as the liberal "inner loop" (the 32 mile 610 loop that surrounds the city). We don't even have a Wal-Mart inside the loop so we obviously don't shop there. All those Tom Delay worshippers in SugarLand and suburbia shop at Wal-Mart. You neocons love big business; that's why we have such an illegal immigration problem.

There are no Wal-Marts in Manhattan or San Francisco either, so where you get your ideas seems slightly crazy.

What is the little guys stores? I would think Wal-Mart and K- Mart are the little guys stores. They are not like the Conservatives shopping at Macy's, Bloomingdale's,and Lord and Taylor's

The liberals truly are hypocrites! The hate mega stores like walmart but what they don't see is that walmart is there exact model of how they want the Government to be run. Walmart wants to put a store in every town and control all the stores. All groceries should be purchased through them cause they are the most efficient and can give the best prices. They're thought is "you can't leave it up to small town shop owners to bring low prices and a wide variety to the towns people! Only a perfect organization like us can provide what the towns people need!"
The same it is with the liberals government plan. They want a bigger government to control everything and not leave it to the small localized Governments to rule themselves. Is my analogy thin. Most certainly but it's still mine.

Liberals, like most Americans shop at places like Wal Mart and K-Mart because "real income" has dropped every year for the last 5 years and places like that are the only places that we can afford to shop

are you forgetting that personal savings are at an all time low and personal debt is at an all time high.

It has nothing to do with hypocrisy. It has to do with Americans providing for their families the best they can.

Loads and loads of Liberals actively boycott Wal-Mart in favor of K-Mart, Costco, etc.

Some would say what's the difference? Wal-Mart is a :predatory" enterprise, both internally and externally.

This is still a free country where people are free to shop where they please. I have my own reasons for not shopping at walmart. It just reminds me too much of a "company store". I am leery of any organization that tries to be all things to all people and actively supports a communists countries massive growth. A little bit of comparison shopping will keep you out of walmart and you will save money too.

It's kind of hard to shop at the 'little guys' when most of them have been run out of business by Walmart....but you're right, liberals that shop at Walmart should be ashamed of themselves.

Stop taunting people and goading them with your childish and inarticulate postings.

Stop playing the political blame game and demonizing liberals or conservatives. There are 300 million people in the USA and blaming either liberals, conservatives, or moderates and slandering them or making stereotypical generalizations about them is just plain foolish and self-destructive.
