We have been together 13 and a half months..been engaged for a little over a month. What do I get him? I want it to be special to him, just like he is to me.

Well, apparently the current consensus is that you should definitely not be afraid to be very oral about your love for him. While that is always a welcome gift for any guy, I'd hope you were going to be intimately involved regardless and don't reserve that sort of thing for only Christmas. As far as what's special to your guy... don't really know. I don't know your guy. We don't tend to be sentimental creatures in the way that most women are, so we occasionally miss the subtlety in things. On the other hand, we have some pretty consistent things we like. The number one thing a guy likes, beyond really great sex, or lingerie for you that leads to really great sex, is of course, pizza and beer. Just kidding, some guys prefer whiskey. The number one thing I can bet most guys would appreciate is if you showed you are willing to facilitate or even tolerate one of his interests. Get him tickets to a game if he likes sports, even if you don't really like that sport. Take charge of a "date" and make it something he'd choose to do, without having to feel guilty about wondering if it's something you would choose to do. Guys love anything we can play with.. which is what makes sex such a cool distraction, but technology is fun too. We like all kinds of nifty gadgets and such. Just look at the Maxim Top 100 Gifts for Guys. Not to belabor the point, but whatever it is, if it's topped off with really good sex, it's a winner in our book.

Look at his interests and hobbies. Get a gift that is related to this, but that is not entirely predictable. An example of this would be, if he golfs, get him gift certificate for lessons with a prestigious golfer in your area.
So that's the first gift, the second gift should be about the two of you as a couple... not a picture in a frame, because guys do not generally care about that. Something like some nice lingerie for you to wear for him, or maybe a sensual massage, or an erotic game. Whatever you think he might enjoy.

i would suggest a nice watch depending on your budget something like a movado watch would definately be a hit. but then again you are his fiance so what ever you get would be great.

you can give him some jewerly, or a framed old special pic of both of you to bring happy moments, you know what he likes ...try to find out what is on his mind.... you can give him some art, ..... and more.... :) Merry christmas to both of you .... :)
