If they still believe in santa
give them a small present that they would like then say
I also brought a big big present along with me too
have santa come into the room
and talk woith the kids
I am sure if you find a deparment store with a santa that is nice he would do it

If they were well enough, I would take them out somewhere special for the day, like an amusement park or Zoo or something that interested them, give them your undivided attention, talk to them, show them that they are important to you. So often kids with cancer and other severe illness' get less attention than their illness. So much attention is paid to what is wrong with them, that we forget to show them how much we love them.
