you do not need any pendants, but you might as well get them.

after you've left kakariko villiage, you need to head out on your first dungeon - head to the far east side of the map, around the middle. you'll know you're at the right place when you go through a maze under trees or something, and you can't see yourself well, and a monkey starts following you.

there's a building there with an old man - he gives you the pegasus boots, and you'll need them for the dungeon you're about to enter

as for the first set of gloves, to the southwest of the map, there's a desert. you'll need the book of mudora from the library east of the shovel digging game, and you'll need the boots to knock the book off the shelf. the gloves are the prize for this second dungeon in the desert

the mushroom is given to a witch to the northeast of the map, in a tree or a house or something - on the way to zora's falls. she'll take the mushroom and make sleeping powder, which is probably one of the most useful equipment pieces you'll get. those skulls in the dungeons with the four fire balls on them can be turned into healing faeries with the magic powder - and then bottled up

a bottled faery never needs to be used. when you die, link will automatically be revived

I remember that you give the shroom to the witch in the dark world towards the northeast of the map. As for the other I can't help. However, check out gamefaqs.com and you should be able to find some answers.

For the SNES? If so, here a link to a guide/faq guide site.

Link to the past was one of the best for the SNES!
