Should I give thank you cards for gifts I didn't want/need/crave to my co-workers?

yes--it's the polite thing to do, even if it's not sincere

This is entirely up to you. Most people have said yes as it is the polite thing to do however we do not know the circumstances in which these gifts are being given.

My answer would be yes if you welcome the gift givers friendship but no if you wish to stop the needless gift giving or at least give a good hint that they are not appreciated.

It is considered good manners to give a thank you note to any one who gives you a gift. It doesn't matter whether you wanted the gift, needed the gift. They took the time and money to put something together for you, just a brief note is nice.

Yes, Yes, Yes. It is proper to give thank you notes, even if you dont like it. How would u like if your boss came and told you he didn't like your gift. Same thing just like you saying you dont appreciate the gifts you recieved or think you are better than that person!!!
