when you bulid your own neighboorhood on the pc version, how do you get more house options?
how do you make more houses? do you put a lot up for sale??

If there's no more houses in the house bin, you'll have to place a lot somewhere in your neighborhood. Then just click on it to enter that lot and you can build your own house. You can add furniture and appliances too, but just don't overdo it because one of your sim families is going to need to be able to afford moving in. If you don't want to build your own house, there's many sites out there that have houses available for download. Just download what you want, and once you've loaded the game, click on the Custom Content button (either on the neighborhood screen or the house bin section; I can't remember which) and click on the import option. The house(s) you downloaded should now be available.
PS. If you want your sim family to use their own money to build their house, just move them into an empty lot and build them a house. Keep an eye on their expenses though so they can have money for groceries and bills, etc. If you need to, get the cheapest furniture and appliances that they really need. You can always upgrade them once your sims have made more money. Hope I've helped.=)

yes, you have to make a lot for sale then you can build a house, but there are no houses in the lot bin that you can use because thats how they made the game

no you make them move in an empty slot,cheat for money and then make a paradise!
