I played the arcade games a bit in the late 80's growing up and I really want to get the arcade version of Ninja Gaiden up and running. But I have not a clue as to how to go about using the MAME emulators. They are nothing like home console emulators like the nes. I only want to play that game so if there is a specific emulator that would work best, then thats all i need. PLEASE HELP!

Okay you should run Mame pluss http://mameplus.emu-france.com/...
It is easy to use after you download it.
Click this link and down load to your desktop:
http://mameplus.emu-france.com/download/...
Un zip this folder into your Mame folder it will wright over the files it is changing and meld others together. After it is thru then make sure your ROMs are in zipped form in the folder named roms in the mame folder. Now in the main mame folder you should have a folder named mamepgui its a application file. Dubble click this and Mame32 will start up, it will do an audit of your roms and then you should press Ctrl+f to open up the "Filter for all games folder" Check the boxes non-working and Unavailabe. by doo this it will only show game roms you have that are playable.

NOTE:::::::::NOTE:::::::::::::...
Some games require multible Roms to work, others require CHD files the hardest to come by and Some, Bios files (I rec get all theses right off the bat from here: http://www.efmovie.com/mame.htm)... The place I'd send you to find Roms are in order for ease of acess and speed of downloading and no BUGS or nasty stuff are:::::

Where did you even get it anymore? I remember when you could download all that stuff for free from the MAME site. I can't get my version to work anymore, because it's only compatible with Win 98, and I've switched over to XP. Is your version compatible with your OS?
