dragon ball z is the pioneer for naruto... i would go with naruto because i think it has a little more substance. i like both though.

DBZ far overpowers Naruto characters. Characters in Naruto would probably have a power level of about 6000, whereas DBZ characters have power levels of over 1,000,000. If any character in Naruto went up against Krillin they would probably lose. I mean you're talking a bout characters who have crazy abilities that use their ki in order to blow up planets. The possibility of a Naruto character surviving an explosion, such as the Explosion of Namek, is a 1 in a million chance, so good luck saying that DBZ characters rely on brute strength. DBZ characters rely on their inner ki which allows them to abilities like the kameheha or the makenkosapo(special beam cannon), the abilities are called blast attacks. Also if your not a DBZ fan you can't really have a say if one is better or not you need to look at both sides of the spectrum

Naruto has more interesting characters and story lines. Each naruto character also has different special abilities that make them unique.
DBZ characters pretty much just power up and either hand to hand fight or throw energy blasts...
DBZ much stronger but more blah..
not trying to be hating, im a big fan of both :)

Do you mean which is the better series, or would the DBZ characters be able to kick the asses of the Naruto characters?
Most DBZ characters could kick the *** of ANYONE in Naruto... they just power up more ki than anyone in Naruto can :)
(hell, Goku could blow up a planet... could Naruto? :)

DBZ takes this in a contest of power. Like people have said, ANY of the DBZ characters can beat anyone from Naruto. (ok maybe Hurcule (Mr. Satan) couldn't..... but really anyone else)
Planet destroying aside.... when was the last time you saw anyone from Naruto blow up an enemy, burning them to dust?

YOUR KIDDIN' RIGHT, DBZ IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN NARUTO. i'm a huge fun of both but did you kno that the creator(Masashi Kishimoto) of NARUTO is a big fan of DBZ creator(Arika Toriyama) and he always wanted to be just like him. SO THAT SAYS WHOLE ALOT RIGHT THERE!
