if i come to india can I use Maestro credit card (not mastercard)?

to retrive money from ATM

I had a maestro atm and debit card and it worked pretty fine. You should be able to use your card in india....

Yes Indian bank ATMS and state bank of Indian accepts the card. check these sites:
