This is a hard question to answer because everyone has a different goal when they wear pantyhose. Casual dress, must wear for the occasion, shaping or whatever. You must find the type you want that has a comfortable fit and wears for the number of times you need them. You may have to do it by trial and error. Generally, but not always, the pantyhose with the highest amount of lycra shape the most but are stronger and last, I'll say, a little longer--no guarantee.

spanx are great for shaping and if you want the best, highest quality, get wolford, it's expensive but worth it
