That you simply were on burnout from this? It use to be fun for me.....now as I see it as personal best, it has titrated to (for me) a loathsome & numb task of words layered upon complexities and negativity...it is NOT just me I know......who else feels this way????? Don't EVEN bother telling me I bore you, as if you don't like my "Q" you do not have to give me your bad joy right?????

I JUST got to level 6...and yeah, that climb to level 7 is BRUTAL...
but to get to level six wasnt even that bad for me...i didnt even notice...it just happened...now that i want to get to level 7...i WILL notice...

I couldn't believe it took so long for me to get to level 7. I use to average 1,200-1,400 points a week and then it just got hard and boring. I did burnout. I then started averaging about 700-800 points a week, but I finally made it. A couple of times I just went wild and started answering questions and then I got tired of it again. Oh well, sometimes a person can burnout on something good.

I hardly pay attention to my points. I mean, every once in a while I may see how many points I have to get to level five. But that's hardly, b/c I know I've got a looong way to go.
I'm positive that Y!A was not made for "personal bests". I actually TRY TO HELP OTHERS. Isn't that what this is for? But it depends on the category I'm in. If I'm under cooking, I'll try to help and give a recipe. If I'm under Polls I'll be funny. If I'm under Religion(that place is SCARY), I'll give my honest opinion. Yes, I DO indeed try to get best answer. But if I don't, *shrugs* oh well.
You need to relax, and remember that this is just fun. It isn't suppossed to be easy. In fact, when you think about it, these points are worthless. (Unless you thought a Y!A water bottle was a cool gift.) But if there wasn't points, there would be fewer ppl on here. If points were easy to get, and you actually "beat" Y!A would you still come here? (Besides to go to Polls?)

I have twice been at level 5, only to be deleted once 100 points from level 6 and once 400 points away, I have satrted again but I am suffering from answer fatigue and don't know if I can be bothered

Yes, it is hard...and I'm only getting to level 6- but you can do it! The reward is at the end of the path and you are on the highest rung of the ladder. We are all rooting for ya! Keep the vision.

Poppy1, there is no level 8. Once you get to level 7, the fun, for me, anyway, sort of ended, because there didn't seem to be any more goals to reach. It was fun to get to 7, though, wasn't it! :o)

I'm level 6. I could care less. If I ever reach level 7, big deal. Hang in there, I don't pay attention to points, never have. What's the point (sorry, that's bad). !!!!

I do. At first I did find Yahoo! Answers to be fun, but later on when I got to Level 5, it just wasn't the same anymore. (Or fun either).
