Is it normal for people to just take you off their friends list for no apparent reason with no explanation? Because a while ago I added this kid thta graduated last year and don;t see anymore and they had me on their list for a day and then took me off. I got really upset and thought people hated me so I got rid of it. But it seems like it happens more, just people taking people off their lists for no explanation? It's the whole friends list not just the top 8 or whatever. Is that common? Also should I get it back?

It's probably because they assume that you're not going to want to talk to each other again. When someone leaves a school, or is in some other situation that requires constant absence, chances are that they're so caught up in their own lives that they assume you are busy too. If you two don't see each other, your friend probably presumes that you will have nothing to talk about, so they just take you off their list. And, yes, it does happen. If you guys were good friends, then maybe you should contact them and ask to be put back on the list. If not, you probably should just let it be (not so sound harsh or anything). I'm sure they didn't hate you. They just thought you wouldn't have anything to talk about. Hope that helps! Sorry I wrote so much.

If you really want to avoid drama, then I suggest staying the hell away from myspace. All it does is create drama, and it is so like middle school! I was a myspace addict and I just deleted my profile one day and I have never been happier. You know, maybe that guy has a GF or dating someone who doesn't like him having random girls as his friends, it could be lots of different things, but the fact is, you're letting a WEBSITE get you all upset. This world provides enough opportunities for drama and rejection, why purposely put yourself into one more situation to be rejected?

Yes this happens all the time on myspace some people are just really mean and don't care what they do to others on their myspace account. You should try and get your myspace account back even though people are mean and delete you don't feel bad it happens all the time and its nothing to worry about its just one friend as long as your happy then don't worry about what happens to your friends on myspace.

Maybe he just doesn't like you. Not trying to sound harsh, but it's part of life..not everyone wants to be your friend. You shouldn't have taken it so personally..I've had people I've lost contact with delete me. It's no big..doesn't affect my day. Do you not have more important issues to busy yourself with? Get it back and add people you will actually talk to on a regular basis.. your friend count does not = cool. I think it's lame to see someone with less than celebrity status have 472398729837 friends anyway.

and yes it happens all the time so dont feel bad if it happens again. Do u have his phone#? if so call him and ask him.

its really common. people just like to change things around a lot, and never have the same friends list because its more fun like that. its totally normal, im sure nothing personal. dont stress over it!

Grow up.... if they don't want you on the list...so what... there are probably hundreds of people that wil want you on there...besides I'm sure some people just keep friends that talk to them regularly.

some people add you just to view your private profile...then delete you. i myself only have family on mine...i used to add old friends and people i haven't seen forever but the fact that we hardly talk...i felt like they were there for nothing. so i decided strictly family! it only makes more sense in my situation.

Maybe it's because of how often you talk with them. I delete people I know but don't talk to.
