Just be your self. Be nice to him, but just do your own thing and let him come to you. When he's ready, he'll start warming up to you.

I think you're more uncomfortable than he is if you're picking up on and he hasn't said a word. Try to find a common acitivity, an ice-breaker to get to know each other and become close as FAMILY. Most guys like sports. Ask him his favorite team..and he should be talking your ear off at that point. Get some of the other cousin's together and play football or whichever sport he prefers together. I'm sure you both uncomfortable because you don't know each other well and you're forced into a situation to be family and you're strangers. Relax he's not a weirdo. Get to know him the same as you would the new boy at school.

Just act normal. Why should you act differently because of a feeling SOMEONE ELSE has? That makes no sense. If he's uncomfortable, then let him deal with it, but don't sit around worrying about every little action you do. And anyway, lots of people have crushes on their cousins, you just get over it as you get older. If he messes with you or makes inappropriate comments, then speak to your parents.

consentrate on you, from what I here from this call for help is that you are somewhat beautiful to him and being that he is male, and not only your cousin, he has'nt yet come to terms that you are cousins and not distant friends. all that you can do is be you. let him learn to differentiate between the two......Be comfortable with yourself OK!

all relationships need communication to thrive. Let him know he can be himself around you and if he crosses a line you don't want to cross, let him know. I lost my cousin so cherish your family while you can. You might concider introducing him to some of your friends too.

It depends where you're from. If you are from West Virginia or Kentucky or someplace like that, maybe you should hook up. If you are from somewhere civilized, you should call him out on that in front of a bunch of people.
