What do guys think of girls who play video games?

Question

And I'm talking about real gamers. And what do you think if she's better than you?

I'm not looking for approval, just want to know what the opposite gender thinks!

I personally think its great. My wife and I play video games all the time. I got her hooked. If both of you are into games then it makes it more enjoyable when you two are together at home. If one person plays, then sometimes the other may hate the idea and next thing you know, the system is flung across the room. There are games that she is better than me. That just makes me work harder. Motivation. It doesn't matter to me that she is a woman, I am competitive and a sore loser so take that as it were.

A girl who plays video games is a girl who doesn't go around saying, "I don't understand why they spend all that time playing those stupid games." That's a good thing. A gamer is a gamer. If it's a girl gamer or a guy gamer, it really doesn't make much difference to me.

Some guys get really pissed if girl gamers beat them. I think it's hard for guys not to. We naturally tend to be more competitive. I don't mind if she's better, except if she trys to rub it in and brag about it.

I think girl gamers are awesome! In fact, that's how I met my wife...we both played Everquest 2, met in game, talked via emails, then phone, then webcam...met in person a few times, she moved out to San Diego, Cali from Pittsburgh, PA and then we got married just over a year ago (and now we have 3 month old twins!!) So yeah, if there were no girl gamers, I'd be single, bored, and alone. Hehe. Now we both play World of Warcraft (when the twins let us), and we both love it!
