Yes ! Great Place...I have a picture of it from the air hanging in my Kitchen... the Runway is spectacular... the booze & Cig's cheap and so is the petrol, the Square at Burger King - across from Marks & Sparks is a great place to watch the world go by...not a place to be driving though...had a few scary moments in the tight alleyways.. Would move there in a minute

Yes - the first time I saw Gib I could only look at it from Spain - in those days the border was closed to us Brits from Spain. Not to be thwartede the following year I went from Tangiers across to Gib. That was in the days when it was free to see the Barbiary Apes and the traffic was half what it is now - obviously due to the border being closed.
We went back a couple of years ago and was amazed at how it has changed - full of tourists, but unfortunately only met a couple of genuine locals.
Queued almost an hour to go through the border and then on our return had to wait for a plane to take off right across our path.
Don't know if the wartime museum is still open but that was well worth the visit.

I was there in 2000, I'm Argentinian, but I can't say if I'd like to live there. I liked the place, it's OK but... nothing else. How's life over there ?? Do you feel British?? Or Spanish?? Or just European??
If you want I'd love to have an answer. I liked the monkeys very much, so cute and sweet.

Went there as part of my honeymoon cruise....had a tour of the island and was fascinated by its history....went up with the apes but unfortunately came away with my ex still intact...ah well...
