So, I haven't gotten my period since July, and usually my cycle is very defined as to when I'm ovulating, PMSing, or have my period. I've had the defined ovulation, if not worse than before, and my PMSing has been normal, but I haven't gotten my period. I've never had sex before (Let alone my first kiss), I'm sixteen years old, and I'm concerned. I was planning on going to my doctor soon, but I want to see if I can get any information as to why this is happening. I'm starting to get worried. I know I'm not pregnant, even if I was sexually active, because my weight has stayed the same and I don't have a belly. Does anybody know why I haven't gotten my period? Please let me know! Thanks!

when you are younger you tend to not be regular at first....and since you aren't sexually active you don't have to worry about being pregnant however i would go to your doctor just to be on the safe side. also if you have had a lot of stress lately it could be that, however i would still go see the doctor...it is better to be safe than sorry.

Well, I had my first period in the 8th grade and then didn't have it again until the end of the 9th grade. I had very irregular periods all my life. If you really aren't sexually active, then don't worry too much. You should eventually go to your doctor--I hope you're getting your yearly pap smears-- and ask then. Take care!

okay the fact that you said " i know I'm not pregnant because my weight has not changed and i don't have a belly." that worries me.. before that you claimed you weren't sexually active.. so if you are and don't want anyone to know you better see a doctor.. as far as the weight and belly.. i gained 11 pounds my whole pregnancy and didn't show until i was 7 months so good luck with your theory.
