It's important, yes, but it's not the most important thing. Sex can go on a back burner for a number of reasons - stress being a large part. Marriages go through all sorts of phases, and sex can be frequent or infrequent during those times. It isn't necessarily an indication of how healthy a relationship is.

I think people place far too much pressure on themselves and each other to have sex all the time, when it is something you have to be in the right frame of mind for. You might be stressed about something and not want sex, but if your partner then takes this as a sign that you don't love them, it's ridiculous.

Yes, it is an extremly important part of any relationship. I was married to a man who liked to use it as a way to control the relationship and guess what, we are no longer married! Now I am with a great man who takes the time to pay attention to all my needs, emotional, physical, and he is my best friend too!

the great hawaiian disease lackanooki is a big problem in many relationships.. A vibrant sexual life keeps a relationship fresh. But it is not the end of it when the guy falls asleep after orgasm.

It's about taking out the garbage, putting down the toilet seat buying her tampoons if necessary. For the woman it's about getting up at 4 am to sit in a deer stand and not talking.

It is very important but sex alone can never sustain a marriage. There are many other aspects required for a strong marriage like mutual love, respect and understanding.

I believe sex is very important. There is no other way to be that close to another person. But over time it takes a little more work to keep it exciting.

I think it is important, yes, but I do not think it is the most important thing. Sex is just a way of showing your love to one another. Not what your marriage should be based on.
