Why is it that teens today feel that they have to use their entire bodies to show affection?

I don't understand why teens today feel the need to "put out" to their partners. I don't understand why they feel like they have to give a piece of themselves to receive love. This is so sad to me does anyone know why this is? Serious answers only please no meanies! ♥

because that is what they are taught... every media source tells them that is what they should do.... even a growing number of parents tell them that it is ok...even the disney chanel shows sexualy sugestive behavior even at the bubblegummer level for crying out loud... what else are they to think

My 5 yr old grandaughter tried to french kiss me because that is all she sees on tv... when I tried to take her picture on thanksgiving she tried to pose like a poledancer...where do you think she saw that?

First of all, I disagree with you. Teenaged boys have been doing this for years, but nowadays since more girls are doing this it's suddenly an issue. I saw an icon with this on it, "A slut is a woman with the morals of a man". I don't think it's right, but I also don't think it's fair to just judge on women. I know you don't say that in your question, but it's just an issue that makes me angry sometimes.

As others have stated, it is all they see. They believe the way of showing affection is to give everything. It is unfortunate. Kids are not kids very long, especially today.
