Who the hell needs a soul anyway? Go to WalMart and get one of those universal jobs that operate anything and let the duck have the stupid remote. Clearly it's important to the duck, but you can live without it. Then sit down to watch House and drink a few shots of vodka. You'll be better in no time.

No, I don't watch much television except for a little Headline News. I guess I could get up to turn it off or on, or change the volume.

Not at all.....I'd be grateful, as long as I could still have my DVD remote to watch movies...and my favorite TV show, which I have on disc... ;)

Pfft, no...I rarely watch TV during the week. I have an HTPC that records shows I like, and I catch up on the weekends. : )

I always keep a unversal remote, just in case I change my mind, so don't worry about it. Life changes, so do I.

No, I'd just keep my kid over by the set to manually change the channels at my request, just like my dad did with me.
