Because she is scum. She is basically trailer trash that can sing. She has nothing positive to give anyone, except all her bad examples. No couth, no self respect, nothing. She walks around with her crotch exposed for everyone to see...I'm sure her kids will enjoy that when they're older but she'll be able to afford plenty of therapy for them. If you were older and had a daughter YOUR own age...you would not want your daughter saying "oh mommy, I want to be JUST like Britney"...you know you'd failed big time as a mom role model if that were the case.

I doubt many people take the time and energy to actually hate her, but her behavior definitely warrants disapproval. Look. These are the facts.

She's a good dancer and a pretty girl.

She's not a good singer nor is she a good actress.

Her career and, consequently, her money come from providing sexually-based entertainment (she's not a porn queen, but come on); however I don't have a problem with that since we all know sex sells -- I can change the channel when my kids are around.

She screwed another girl's boyfriend.

She's got two kids, but she runs the streets and leaves them at home -- a LOT.

She's not a girl anymore. She's an adult with two kids and one unsuccessful marriage under her belt. She needs to grow up and assume responsibility for that.

Look, Britney. Work on being a better mom. Go to college or get into an intense voice or acting studio; work on becoming a legitimate singer or actress. Your teeny-bopper days are done. And don't think I'm down on you; on the contrary, I think you've come entirely too far to become some glorified 'white trash' icon. You can do better; you've worked too hard not to.

She's obviously so desperate for attention that she'll sink so low just to get it. By getting married and having kids so soon, she has alienated her old fan base and she's one bad album away from ending up on a vh1 reality show like "Surreal Life" or "Celebrity Fit Club".

I just don't like her music
and really don't care to see her on TV or anything.

which is why I never go out of my way to listen or to watch her but sadly she gets pushed down my throat a little to much by the media.
