you freaking conservatives are missing the point...again. dont compare bush with truman or wilson or roosevelt. those were justified wars. iraq is not. it is a scandal that stinks to high heavens. these are innocent people in the respect that they were the ones attacked by us. they did not deserve to be killed. innocents are a costs of war, but for god's sakes, this was a war that should not have been fought.

You are missing the point, only certain people think he is a good christian man--those who are also brainwashed religious people who use religion to promote their own agendas. The rest of us know he is an idiot who is only out for his own power and glory, and will liklely get us into another war before he leaves office. We have the most powerful military in the history of the world, and this week he says we need a bigger army? If there was a god, he would have stopped this madman a few years ago. Since there isn't a god, and all religion is false, we are stuck with his mistakes and arrogant acts.

As a "good Christian" Bush talks to God daily - and what's more, God answers back!! Now, let's face it, if he wasn't such a good Christian, would the almighty even bother to fool with a loser like him? Oh, wait a minute - talking to unseen people and getting answers from them - that's a sign of mental illness isn't it? Poor George, looks like he's doomed - probably should spend the rest of his life on medication or maybe in a rubber room - then he can hear all the voices he wants.

first of all,are you a democrat?now... Mr. bush does not believe that the "easiest" way is killing innocent people! where did you get that? and just because he talks the talk and walks the walk,Doe's NOT MEAN that he's a Christian. I'm a Bible believing Christian, but for all you know, i could "talk the talk, and walk the walk" and say I'm a christian. but inside i could just be a lying coot, what matters is what is inside. no one No's if some one else is really saved.when you get to Heaven then you will find out.

When politics are mixed with religion with claims "we take directions from God" those that "buy in" (supporters) will always justify. If the person they feel is lead by God, God can never be wrong. Catch "22". This is what has happened in the middle east, we now are trying to change.

I agree with you. He is such a pro-lifer, but when it comes down to it he is as good as a murderer.

How come it is he would have "gotten up out of bed" to sign legislation to keep Terri Shivo alive (the vegetable woman who was being kept alive by machines for years) but he sends healthy young AMERICAN men and women off to die everyday? War is not pro-life, sorry.

He is just feeding the crazy cons what they want to hear so he can have their vote. So many of those people are "single issue" voters, and that's their issue, so kudos on a successful strategy to get votes.

I think you're getting Bush confused with insurgents again. I don't see how else you could come up with "hundreds of thousands"

U.S. forces target people who are shooting at them per the Rules of Engagement. If they shoot at innocent people they are punished.

I don't know, I don't see any evidence of it. Ask the millions of evangelicals that he used shamelessly in the last election to explain it. He's about as Christian as my cat IMO.

War involves killing. No man likes to see soldiers die. But in order to protect this country he did what he felt was best. Wilson was a good Christian man, and he won WW1 for us, but many died in the war...

You need to understand 1) religion and 2) politics better

Good thing he is a card carrying member of the "Pro-Life" party. All of those frozen embryos are very lucky to have him in office. So are the unborn babies that are forced upon our society and to mothers that didn't want them to begin with.

The Iraqi and Afghan mothers and children not quite so lucky.

Another 23.5 million of them and they will all be free!
