You mean WW2.
Hitler made three mistakes that cost him victory in WW II. First, Hitler lost WW II because he underestimated the strength of the Soviet Union.
Second, Hitler lost WW II because of his policy of changing European borders by force and German diktat. A harsh settlement unilaterally imposed on a defeated party.
Third, Hitler lost WW II because his notions of German racial and cultural superiority alienated most Europeans, who recognized the necessity of trans-European cooperation between competing ethnic and religious groups.

Blitzkrieg means "lightening war". Blitzkrieg was first used by the Germans in World War Two and was a tactic based on speed and surprise and needed a military force to be based around light tank units supported by planes and infantry (foot soldiers).

1 Hitler lost the war because he thought he was Napoleon reborn. he thought he was a great military mind but when in fact he wasn't. he took control of the entire army all orders had to come from him. this can be seen in the battle for Stalingrad all he had to do was go around it. the city held no real importance or military gain. along with the panzer div"s that was held up on the allied invasion of Normandy because he was sleeping if they would have had those div d-day would have turned out different

2 Blitzkrieg was they started out with a bombardment but while they were shelling the army was already on the move so as soon as the shelling stopped tanks and infantry were already on top of the enemy which was unheard of at that time so it struck confusion and panic into the ranks of the defending army's it also good to know that before this time that tanks and infantry were two seprate units but germany made them one during this time

Strategic mistakes

1. Invading the Soviet Union - the invasion came too soon, they underestimated Soviet resilience, they had not finished off Britain, and German political policy toward the Slavs generated Resistance throughout Russia

2. Switching from bombing production in the Battle of Britain to terror bombing. The Germans were sucking the life out of the RAF by destroying the manufacturing capabilities of England. When Hitler switched to bombing London it gave the Brits time time to rebuild and refit.

3. Allowing much of the British Army to escape at Dunkirk. By allowing so many British forces to escape, the Germans stiffened British residence, made an invasion of England that much harder, and had to contend with a stronger British Amery later.

Blitzkrieg is what we now refer to as combined arms. You use armored spearheads (concentrated Tanks) to breakthrough enemy lines and enter rear areas to destroy communication and supply. Hardened defenses are bypassed, surrounded and cut off. They are then reduced by artillery and aircraft and mopped up by infantry.
