It reminds me too much of "uncle jesse" from full house !! But that is my generation lol. So if you are thinking of naming a baby that it will probably go over pretty well.

The name Jesse is a pretty col name for a boy. Kind of reminds me of the suave uncle Jesse on Full House. So that you may know The name Jesse is of Hebrew origin, it means wealthy...

As long as you stay away from the middle name of James its a great name for a boy! But Jesse james is not a good name together....sorry!

I have always loved that name~ way before it became so popular.

When I was a kid in the 70's, I didn't know a single soul of that name and decided that if I ever had a girl, I would name her Jessica and call her Jessie because I wanted a tomboy because I was so much of one and wished I had a name like that!

Well, I had 3 boys, and by the time I was having kids, the name was way too popular anyway. But you know, it's still an awesome name for boy or girl.

Jesse just the way it is written is cool for a boy. I believe it started out as a boys name and after a while became unisexual.
