I checked out this web page called paltalk and now it's instituted itself as my homepage! I tried to close it out and nothing happened so I restored my computer and when I clicked on internet instead of my homepage paltalk came up! I turned my computer off. I went into control panel and removed it and it's still there as my home page!! I need to know how to get rid of this pest and get my regular home page back.

Well, this could be caused by a virus that changed your home page. If this is the case, then the virus might chance it everytime it detects something that is not paltalk. First, run your virus software. If it comes up clean, then it might have been a one time change. Open internet explorer, and clikc tools -> interet options. In the window that comes up, find the area makes homepage. You should find paltalk.whatever listed there. Clear it out and put whatever you want there. Or, you could hit the use blank button to have nothing come up as your homepage. Make the change, hit ok, then restart internet explorer.

Go to your regular homepage, then tools, internet options, use current.
If that doesn't work, do a spyware/virus scan.

try to change ur home page. looks like u got virus.run the virus scan.
