The enemy is yourself. You are the one depleting your resources. Watch the movie "I, Robot", and you will understand.

Well you could have your world and your enenmy's world seprated by a river or an ocean or something an then the two groups can't come to a resource tradeing agreement so they turn into enemys and slowly destroy each other becouse that is basicly the world of today because did you know that 20% of the world uses 80% of the worlds resources and 80% of the world lives off 20% of the worlds rsouces because we have selfish people and very sesphish world leaders

It's the law of nature, for every thesis there's an anti-thesis. It teaches critical thinking.

Imagine this. There's a new world that scientists find on the planet ZAAK (imaginary). They're humans. What's interesting there we find those whom we (you or I) may identify with, and as such, we are immediately able to form an alliance. We discover, too, there's another sect of humans whom we discern as our enemies; and they are enemies to the ones with whom are part of our alliance on ZAAK.

What are the characteristics of our enemies, and why do the characteristics transcend our world, Earth. Is it because of their outward physical characteristics, biological composition or perhaps they're of a different species (think of the movie about another world of Gorilla's or what of Star Wars???).

Anyhow, that's a start... I think all of the ideas that others are sharing in answer to your blog may fit in an imaginary world.

how about the enemy is out to destroy you due to an animosity (dislike) which was birthed (created, begun) in years long gone. The true origins (beginnings) of the hate are no longer clear, but the actions of both sides have insured that the hatred will continue on for the millenniums (a group of a thousand years) to come

To be different is to be misunderstood. Perhaps you might begin your hypothetical situation focusing on what you have in common which then narrows the possible causes of the differences.

The history of man reflects conflict created by either
Economic, Social, or Political differences.

How do you think you got here-it's called AMERICA.
We all came from someplace else..and whether or not you believe this..we all are our own axis of evil.
YOUR new world belongs to someone else..you don't ever own anything..think it over.
