I have an old eagles album and also from 'The Wiz' with movie poster, and even a unopened copy of the jackson five. I have some kenny loggins records? What do you think. Where can I go to find out their worth?

Anything is valuable if you can get some sucker to buy it.

But to answer your question, Sometimes it's not the record itself that is the most valuable, but the album sleeves and covers with the original art work. I would head to an appraiser who specializes in collectibles. Try PBS's "Antiques Road Show" Website. There may be a list of appraisers there.

I don't know their particular collector's worth, but I do know that *real* connoisseurs of music prefer vinyl for the sound quality. I've heard that classical music is particularly better on vinyl for bringing out certain instrument sounds.

To find out the value of yours, and they would probably be pretty decent considering some are still unopened, check a local record store (something small, not like Best Buy), or do some internet searches.

hi, satisfied MLK Day to you to! i don't have something effectual, yet there are a pair that i think of have been definitely meant to be heard on vinyl (regrettably the record participant is presently broken so have not been able to soak it in for a at the same time as now). a pair of those archives that i've got faith sound lots greater suitable on vinyl may be: Elvis Costello - My objective is actual and Blood and Chocolate Simon and Garfunkel - Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme The Beatles - whats up Jude (a comp, my in basic terms beatles vinyl record, yet i've got faith the others are like that too) There are others, yet those are possibly my favourite examples.

They most definitely are:
1. to the collector who wants that nostalgic sound
2. to a dj like myself who wants to have more control over the music than you can get with a cd.

Also take them to a record store, not like NRM or Virgin, but to a local hole-in-the-wall store. They are much more likely to help.
