The "insurgents" are Iraqi citizens resisting US act of terrorism.....the Iraqi "police" and the Iraqi "army" are also engaged in resisting the occupiers.......the fundimental problem with American thinking about Iraq....is that Americans think their absurd militarism is what Iraqis want! It isnt....WE are the enemy.....WE declared Iraqis to be our enemy......99% of Iraqis support the resistance or so-called insurgency!

it depends on who you talk to and your definition of insurgents and terrorists. The actual insurgency started as a resistance by Iraqis to U.S. occupation of their country. Obviously, some of the so called violence by insurgents, is actually terrorist attacks on our troops, but my guess is that the majority of the violence is by Iraqis that want us out of their country.

Insurgents are terrorists. They are killing our people without warning and without uniform, just like on 9/11. The only difference is that they are over there, not here

Yes! What would you consider them? They are insurgents.....which means they are illegal combatants to start with.

Anybody in Iraq, carrying a weapon, not wearing a uniform... whack on sight. (I know.. that would be another "civilian" casualty)
