it will get very close to being as though it has never been there. in enough time, you won't be able to tell.

It will close almost immediately! Don't let these people tell you, it will take years to heal...I had my tongue and lip pierced, I went into the "drunk tank" for 12 hours and both my lip and my tongue closed. Only my lip has a "scar" from the piercing...don't worry about it. Take it out and let it heal!

I got mine done 5 yrs ago. Your tongue will look funny and a bit of a yellow colour for a couple of weeks. Once it has settled down it will be fine. I would go to ur app my dentist never says anything about it. What you need to be thinking is it is nothing to do with your dentist its your body. Just dont scratch the back of your teeth with the bar or they will flip. Dont take it out, it will heal.

Yes, but depending on how long you have had it pierced depends on how long it will take to heal. I had mine for 5 yrs and It took about a yr and a half for the top to heal and another yr for the bottom to heal!

Yes I think that they can. Since the tongue is mostly muscle there should be no problem healing over.
