1. There are two ways to do this (A) and (B):

(A) The newer Macs (in the last year or so) run on the same Intel processors as Windows, so the hardware is the same - Windows sees it as a PC and runs normally. To do this, you create 2 partitions (split the hard drive into 2 areas, one for Mac OS X and one for Windows) and install Windows and OS X, using the Boot Camp software from Apple:

http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/

Then you have to shut down the computer and restart it to choose between OS X and Windows.

(B) You can actually run Windows under Mac OS X so that both Mac and Windows programs are running together using "virtualization" software - the best seems to be Parallels:

http://www.parallels.com/

2. No - you have to buy Windows also (and either buy Parallels or download BootCamp).

3. I have a MacBook and it has been great! I think it is a good value for the money if you (a) don't mind the small monitor (for me, being small and portable is nice) and (b) don't want the internal DVD burner ($200 upgrade - ouch!).

Hi, yes there are a couple of main ways that you can now run the Windows OS on an Apple Mac computer.

The first (and least user-friendly option) is emulation. This is when a program pretends to be that OS. This can often be extremely complicated to set up and could damage your main OS if you do not have knowledge in this area.

The second, and music easier option is what is called "Boot Camo". This is software from Apple that allows you to easily have both Mac OS X and Windows XP running on your Mac. The software is currently in the Beta stage and thus can be downloaded for free (http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/). As with the majority of Apple's software, you are guided through each step of setting your Mac up to run both operating systems with ease.
Once everything is completed the only thing you ever need to worry about is selecting which OS to use at the startup of your computer. Once selected the computer will continue on to boot up like a computer with that OS would.

Is your computer Mac or PC? (I think it's PC right?) If you have a MAC, running Windows OS is pretty easy through Bootcamp. Just backup all of the driver by Bootcamp, create a Windows partition (NTFS or FAT32) and install Windows likes on a PC. If you have a PC, it's quite complicated if you want to run MAC OS. First, you of course have to create a new MAC partition. Then boot by a crack MAC OS DVD (Kalyway for example) and install (quite easy steps). However, the hardest part is behind them. You have to find the suitable drivers for your hardware and it's not easy at all because you can not use the drivers on Windows OS. For the account A & B: You can set up A on Xp, B on MAC or whatever. HOWEVER, these two accounts can not communicate to each other because they are operated by two different system. Luckily, you can still transfer the files between them.

Yes, this is true. Apple's new software gives you a choice on either one! If you are someone who likes a PC system and Mac system depending on what you are doing this is the comtuter for you! I would absolutely reccomend a Macbook or anything Mac. Their computers function so much better with out any viruses etc and have a very cool look!

Now that newer Macs run on the x86 processor like Windows does, it is possible to install Windows on a Mac. It's way too much trouble for you to do it though, and it's hackers (not in the negative sense of the word) that do it, not Apple. I wouldn't recommend a macbook, only because I personally hate Apple OS. The hardware end is top-notch though.
