It's wrong to do it. If I want something, I pay for it. If it's expensive, I save up for it.
I don't do credit cards, hire purchase or theft. None of them make the world a better place.
Shoplifting keeps prices up and wages down.
Last week in Norwich in England, a shoplifter stabbed (and killed) a store detective. That shows you the kind of people who regularly shoplift. They aren't all drug addicts, many are just ordinary people who are too selfish and ignorant to pay for what they want. So much so that they are prepared to take somebody's life so they can get a free cd.
The only people I can accept may need to steal are those who are starving.

No- I don't have much money but I've never stooped low enough to shoplift. Why do it? There are institutions and government programs that help people in need. They always have room for more.

I got arrested for shoplifting when I was 14, but only got caught bc I got in a fight at the mall. It's whatever, you grow out of all that.

No! I never shoplift because it's wrong and I don't break the law. I'd rather spend money on something and feel good rather then steal it and feel rotten.

We all have to pay extra for the goods because of them.

No, my shops are way too heavy, can't lift them even if I am doubly strong. I feel frustrated and depressed. When I feel most like this, I loiter around candy shelves to see if there are some open packets with loose candies so that I may pinch a couple.
