I'm 15 and have had my period for 2 years. I use pads everytime. I tried to use a tampon once, but I just couldn't use it. They scare me. Can I go my whole life with just using pads?

Of course you can. It is never necessary to use tampons. I didn't use tampons until after I was married.

ofcourse you can , the reason that women use tampons instead of pads is because it is much more clean, though using pads is more healthy. dont be asamed that you cannot use tampons yet, if you are still a virgin you still have a hymen ( meaning there is a small piece of skin that is resticting the tampon placement. ) with tampons you risk toxic shock syndrome and numerous other infections, i woud stick to the pads for now or at least you feel the need to try tampons again. try using thiner pads if the size bothers you and make sure that you change them often to prevent oder other wise unless your into sports heavly there is no rush. good luck

Sure, you can use pads as long as you like. Chances are when you get a bit older you'll decide to give tampons another try (they really are great when you get used to how to insert them properly).
Do what works for you...when it's time for you to get on birth control (if you decide to do that) there are some bc meds that lessen the frequency of your periods or stop them altogether...
When the time is right, decide what works best for you...it's your body...

Yes, there are alot of women that don't like tampons and only use pads. It's a matter of personal choice!

Honey I'm 40 years old and have went my whole life.I never could use a tampon.I had tried on numerous occasions with no success.I just found a nice pads I liked and used them.Like ultra thin with maximum absorbency.Good luck

no that does not mean you will forever be stuck wearing pads. when you get older and you become sexually active tampons won't seem so bad.. once you get used to them you forget they are even there. good luck sweety.
