Well! my understanding is that You eat a lot of lovely food plus small birds, frogs legs,snails and geese's gullets. Drink lots of lovely wine, treat waiters like tradesmen instead of lackies,
are really nice people (south & east of Paris!) hate the English, love the Scottish. Play great football & Rugby (but not cricket!)
Couldnt care less about what the EU says and even less the Americans, the French seem to work about 5 hours a day, the women, on the whole, are lovely the men smarmy.oh! yes and you have better weather than we do! apart from that no!!

No, and I dare say that many French people will be in the dark, but 30 years from now we will all be able to look back and find out what was happening.

like most places foreign news only makes local news if something major is happening like the paris riots, that woman running for presidency etc. although cable tv does have a eoro news channel now so finding gossip from abroad is becoming easier
