Sometimes yes, sometimes no. There is a fine line but in some instances certain things and people are so outrageous and obviously so ridiculous that they do not even dignify an answer! Look at the whole Rosie vs Trump thing-that is an example where the more they talk the more stupid they look. You do, however, need to be careful and be sure that you stand up for yourself when needed and not let people walk over you.
