by the way, NCLB i admit was a good attempt, but it has failed miserably. the vast majority of people in the public education field, no matter republican or democrat, think this plan is stupid and not doing enough. so yes, its a start ill admit, but it failed.

This was a good question. Yet you got 4 thumbs down. These people support Bush without question and many other questions about Bush, there are several replies about what a good or even great President he is. You gave them an opportunity to tell you why he is a good or great President. With 13 people responding, the best they could to was tax cuts and no child left behind. Ironically , the tax cuts have left us with 5 or 5 record deficits and no child left behind was under funded.
I have been harsh on Bush and was really open to be informed about some of the good things he has done for this country. Apparently there aren't any.

He cut taxes. He is trying to fix the education system - NCLB isn't perfect, but it's a start. (WTF is so bad about wanting highly qualified teachers? That makes NO sense to me) We haven't been attacked since 9/11. The economy is doing VERY well, in spite of the BS the media feeds you. The Kurds are certainly pleased with the Bush administration.
I could go on, but there's no point - you hate Bush and it wouldn't matter if he brokered world peace, cured cancer and AIDS, ended poverty, balanced the budget and put a million dollars tax-free in every Americans pocket - you'd STILL *****.
NCLB is NOT underfunded!!! We spend a FORTUNE on our schools and have very little to show for it. Throwing money at it will NOT fix the problem FFS!!
