I know that all types of music are played loud, but do a survey for yourself and you will see that the majority of loud music being played is rap.

LOL - couldn't agree more. I have to deal with the same crap and live in Jersey near the shore! Of course, with the majority the license plates here being from New York City, it's no wonder we have to listen to that crap blasting from 20 miles down the road from here! I think it's merely an ego thing. They want to be noticed. It's a need for attention, so it's there way of saying, 'Dude, you hear my big woofers blaring into your living room? I'm about thirty miles away from your house!' They'll wind up paying the price for their hunger for attention and their huge ego trip - they'll wind up deaf by the time they reach the age of 30!

Why does it seem like everyone on here has something against people who listen to rap music? They play it loud for the same reason that people who listen to rock, reggae, reggaeton and every other type of music listen to it loud, to hear it and to be seen. Some people prefer it some don't. It's a preference. Besides sometimes you hear things like beats or lil changes in the background music, instruments or comments that you've never heard before but you'd have to be a real music connoisseur to get into that aspect of it. Everyone that listens to any kind of music does it, only reason you notice rap is because you don't like it, that's no reason to discriminate though. Rap sux to you like heavy metal sux to me. To each his own right?

i suggest buying some hearing aid stock
and in 20 yrs all of these people with the loud music and the big base will need them and you stock will grow

because they think they're tight and all that crap thats probabaly why when they get out of the car they're always sagging coz the bass of the music shook it down lol but they do that coz they're retarted by the way rap sucks!!

They think that this music really rocks and that everyone should listen to it. I listen to all kinds of music, but I do think it's stupid to listen to it that loud. It really disturbs you.

Because that's what they see people in rap videos doing. They think it's cool. All rap and hip-hop is bass, and someone raping.

Because people that listen to it only care about themselves, not you or the baby they have in their car (which I see in my town a lot).
