..Depends on what your definition of an "Emo Kid" is...
Personally, I hate labels. Just because you wear a scarf and Converse All-Stars, that doesn't make you "Emo". Just like wearing a band t-shirt won't make you an "Anarchist Punk Rocker".. Black nail polish and teased hair won't make you a "Depressed Goth"... and smoking weed and wearing dreadlocks doesn't make you a "Dirty tree-hugging Hippie".
But.. You're talking about those whiney-@ss teenagers who sit in the corner all day, crying about their "miserable life".. Taking razor blades to their wrists, and making suicide threats just for the attention? Yeah, I don't like those kids, either.

Emo stands for emotional right?
We all have emotions...
To label some attention hogging self obsorbed kid as Emo is an insult to everyone else who is not self obsorbed because we have emotions too.
I don't hate anyone cause that's just as weak and pathetic as crying over being picked on, like these supposed "emo kids"...
So, in my opinion you must be an emo kid cause here you are bitching about someone who isn't just like you...

It depends. If someone goes around and labels himself emo, it's definitely annoying. If they dress like a stereotypical emo kid, but don't call themselves emo and don't fake depressed for attention or cut themselves or anything, I can deal with them.

Absolutely. They need to quit whining...its not like this trend is a completely new thing. Kids we're doing this in the 80's.

okay... let me get this straight...
they come from middle class homes... okay.
they don't walk miles for necessity...
they got enough cash to waste on MTV style clothing...
the dont work...
they're not the minnority...

Yes. They complain about their lives too much and they're annoying.
Contrary to that though, they're easy and fun to make fun of.
