Is it just me or is the only person christmas benefits the shareholders and store owners? I am sick to death of christmas and how shops use it as an excuse to bleed you of everey last penny in your account.

Yes Christmas has absolutley become too commercial. When you walk into stores after Haloween and there is Christmas stuff already out you know that its too commercial. Thanksgiving has just become that day in between Haloween and Christmas, and it seems as if the real holiday is "Black Friday."

Working in retail of the past 7 years I would have to say YES! It's nauseating at how early the shelves get stocked with holiday merchandise and hnow much people spend on Christmas.

Also, cards and decor...I haven't seen or received hardly any that aren't novely and have the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas. Have you?

No you're spot on. I enjoy christmas but it has become far too commercialised. It is just seen by the shop owners/directors as a way to inflate their profits and their bonuses.

I rarely see a nativity scene at shops. I don't know if they are trying not to offend anyone of different belifs or what. But that is what christmas is all about. on christmas eve i don't read the Night before christmas story.... I read to them about the birth of jesus!
