If this friend knows you're interested and they still pursue this person, they are starting some competition. This person is probably not wanting you to have any attention, or anyone new to be close to. It's a disregard for your feelings. They probably have some insecurity issues to deal with. Be straight up and ask what's going on.

Well if my friend new I had a crush on a guy and she started flirting with him. I would not call her a true friend!!! Friends stick together thru thick and thin and don't compete against each other. Remember good friends are the rare jewels of life, difficult to find and impossible to replace.. Good luck to you!!!

Yea It occured to me also. The guy told my girl (or now ex) that we are not really close friends with him. Now I don't call anybody my friend. Friends can really betray. Very often. Just watch out. That's the only advise I have for you.

wow, if they knew you liked him/her, if they were a true friend, they wouldn't flirt or try to go after him. But i would talk to them cuz sometimes my friends don't know when they're flirting so maybe they're just being their selves. So just talk to them and get their side of the story.

ummm... a person who hits on the person they know you like, is not your friend. that person has some issues to work out. seriously. self esteem issues. usually they keep doing the same thing over and over, so my advice is to be careful. and with the person you like... go for it! you saw them first, you've got dibs :P

i would confront my friend and tell her did she forget that i liked him, but i wouldn't be violent or end a friendship, because boys come and go and they arent worth a good friendship.
