i ditched all my friends for 20 years and the bastard found him self a young skank, so from that day on i realized that friends are so much more important cuz they were still there for me when I needed them.

I would have a bunch of true and good friends but no lover. Because friends are great treasures to be cherished, and they are always your rock and constant in life. Lovers can always leave but real friends don't. Until you find a person who can be your friend and your lover.

A bunch of friends, because you can get a lover from them. With no friend, if the lover left, you'd be with no one but minimal family.
