I'm still struggling to find an answer with only five 7s and no other digits... here are my closest attempts:

(777 - 77)/7 = 100
(7/.7) x (7/.7) = 100
(7 1/7+7 1/7)*7 = 100
(7+(7^0)/7) * (7+7) = 100
((((7 !) + 7) / 7) - 7 - 7 - 7) / 7 = 100

It seems to me we can only use 5 "7"s. Otherwise, this problem can have infinite number of solutions.

For example,

(77/7 - 7/7)(77/7 - 7/7) = 100

(777/7 - 77/7) = 100

(7 + 1/7)(7 + 7) = 100

....
