they did trade indeed, especially harapaan and sumerian, exchanging also knowledge and goods...like the peacock and the hen that came from India, and pictogramm and account coming probably from Sumer. Probably exchanging other things like Slave, jewel, Ivory or else. And before it is supposed indian dravidian came from Zagros mountain area to settle in north India where they mixed quite easily with natives, carrying cows with them...
