Depends on what you want to prioritize. Essentially, what needs to be done is you have to make a list of everything you have, want, or need to do (chores, appointments, time with family, time with friends, work or school (or both if you do both), etc).
From that list, you figure out what it is you absolutely have to do and when (example: have to go to work at this time and return home at this time; have to go school at this time and return home at this time). Then you figure out how important everything else is. An example is: work or school are #1 because they are the most important; appointments might be next, so they would be #2; friends and family might be next, so they are #3. Then, after the #1 items are put into your planner or calendar, you add the #2 items. Then you add the #3 items. And so forth.
Hope this helps!

My work I prioritize by what is oldest on my desk.
At home, I prioritize by what is in most need of doing. Which is usually figured out by what is calling to me the most to do.

At work: By the due date for each project. If the due date is closer, that project gets priority.
At home: enh... Not so good at prioritizing. Dragon goes fer what she wants to do.

I learned something a long time ago,
if you look around and don't know where to start.. start anywhere!
Like house cleaning I just start whereever and clean around the circle..
It really works!!

I start with the question: Is it life or limb threatening & move on down from there. Triage type style.
