Remember when AL Franken put out Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them? It was subtitled 'A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right' and Fox news tried to sue him for using the words 'fair and balanced'. Fox News lost miserably (they couldn't believe that they couldn't corner the market on the wrods) and Franken's book hit the NY Times Best seller list the day it was released (probably wouldn't have happened without Fox's help). LMAO! SO No, according to a judge, they are not 'fair and balanced' . lol

Well I do know that Fox was sued several times in several countries and lost, wanting there logo to be fair and balanced. I think its petty fair to say they are a right wing media source.

On his January 10, 2000 show, O'Reilly claimed he was an Independent, but the New York Daily News reported on December 6, 2000, that he was registered as a Republican in Nassau County, New York, from 1994 to 2000

After the Daily News questioned O'Reilly on the matter, he re-registered as an Independent in 2001.

The Iraq war
Speaking on ABC's Good Morning America on 18 March 2003, O'Reilly made the following promise: "If the Americans go in and overthrow Saddam Hussein and it's clean, he has nothing, I will apologize to the nation, and I will not trust the Bush administration again."[31][32][33]

he's an finished jerk. He has to repeat no spin one hundred circumstances an afternoon because HE DOTH PROTEST too a lot. He supplies propaganda with out blinking a watch, he's the most biased man or woman I have ever listened to, at the same time as he comes into contact with actual presenters like Phil Donahue it shows what a spiteful woman he extremely is. His overinflated ego and sexist behaviour is phenomenal to video reveal. If he had an wise concept he will be risky. Stephen Colbert is one hundred circumstances more beneficial at being invoice than invoice is.

Yes they are, and if people actually watched they would see that.O'Reilly very often agrees with the Liberal side, and has bashed Bush and Republicans very often on his show. On Hannity and Colmes, both get the same amount of time to debates issues from both sides. Most Liberals are only one sided however, so they hate Fox and only like Msnbc and CNN.Fox IS the only one that shows ALL sides of the political spectrum...

Depends on your definition of balanced. If "balanced" means calling every democrat who ever lived a "wacko", telling a whole city of people (San Fransisco) that it's OK if it gets nuked, throwing a fit over saying "Happy Holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas" and not letting guests talk when you don't agree with them, then yes, it is balanced.

Yes, because they always invite people on both sides of
any issue whereas CNN, ABC,CBS, and NBC always
leans one way and never want someone from the other
side of the issue to give their views. If it does happen, they
cut them down. Everyone should tune in to Fox News and
Rush Limbaugh for the truth. The others are just a bunch
of liberal socialists that seem to love other countries and
heads of countries (Castro Chavez etc) more than they
like or stand up for America.

No way ~ no how. FOX and people like O'Reilly are some of the worst examples of quality journalism.

O'Reilly isn't worthy to hold the door for a man like Ed Bradley (recently departed).

No more than any other news organization.

Haven't seen any scandals with Fox creating news stories - can't say the same about CBS, the AP, Reuters....

The left is just really pissed off that the right actually has a voice now.

Um, no. Fox isn't balanced, CNN isn't balanced, and it's silly to say it is. No one is offended that they're a biased station - they should just admit it.

Articchick - if you say the left is pissed that the right has a voice (talking about Fox), isn't that kinda admitting that it's not balanced?

I DON'T ALWAYS AGREE WITH HIM BUT I LOVE THE SHOW. WHEN SOME OF THESE NUMB-SCULLS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE ARE CALLED OUT ON SOMETHING OF COURSE THEY DON'T THINK ITS BALANCED....IF YU AGREE WITH HIM, ITS BALANCED....IF YU DON'T IT'S NOT...SIMPLE. IF YOU HAVE EVER NOTICED, WHEN SOME OF THESE JERKS GET CAUGHT UP IN THE DISCUSSION BY AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH THEY NEVER ANSWER THE QUESTION. THEY JUST GO OFF IN ANOTHER DIRECTION. DRIVES MOST PEOPLE WILD.
