The PSP uses a 3.6 volt 1800mAh battery pack manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment

I know this because i am looking at the battery right now.

Well, I never had a PSP and I never used one, but I know that they need size AA batteries.

I think it uses a Sony rechargable battery. Not ordinary AA or AAA cells.
